We sell renewed laptops that have been through a full hardware check rather than a wipe and a polish, and we buy used laptops for cash with an on the spot valuation.
If your current laptop is slow rather than broken, it is worth asking whether an SSD and some memory would be the cheaper answer. We will tell you honestly either way.
